Jason Monroe Tattoos

It has been about a month and a lot has been going on. I got to see and tattoo some of my favorite people!! Hopefully in order of the pictures I tattooed a black cat with firecrackers on my good friend Tom’s ditch. What a fun tattoo! My friend and fellow tattooer D is opening up his own shop in Helen, Ga. It is called 1920 Tattoo. I believe the doors opened today at 2. Congrats to him! I made him a painting and drove up to visit last week. The shop is in a very cool location.My photographer buddy Matt P was in town so we did a Sailor Jerry Panther fighting a snake on his lower leg. And finally a couple weeks ago my buddy Sutton was in town. It was good to see him. We exchanged tattoos and ate lots of great food. Other than that these photos need no explanation….

Here are a few tattoos I’ve done recently. I’m pretty stoked on the way they turned out. I was able to tattoo my initials on this dudes fingers, ha only because they were the same as his old ladys’ initials. I also finished this thigh sized family crest on my good buddy Keiths gf. Thanks to everyone for getting tattoos from me. It means a lot to me to be able to do what I love, and it’s you guys that keep me going. Thanks again!!

I have awesome clients…

So some of us from the shop took a trip down to middle of nowhere, Ga. I still don’t know exactly where we were, but we made it there in one piece. My buddy Zack, our shop guy Keith, a buddy from England and fellow tattooer Adam Machin, fellow tattooer Kurt Fagerland, amd myself took a day trip down to meet up with Lil D and get some tattoos. The day was hot, but we managed to drink some beers, grill out and make some bad decisions. Thanks to D for having us and making us feel at home.
